Sanghoon Lee is a performance artist and choreographer. he was born in Seoul and is currently based in
Oslo. Sang's choreographic work explores how to produce meaning from performances and he is
particularly interested in the gaps between the performer and the audience, and the way in which I can
bridge the gap. His works often explore the relationship between the body and space and question how
collaboration can inhabit spaces to create meaning. And often the work leaks out from the stage space that
questions the relationship between reality and the dream space(stage). He is currently exploring the idea of
creating movement scores and works driven by life's urgency. Through Sang's works, he continuously
challenges the audience’s experience and pushes the boundaries of performance. He is passionate about
creating meaningful, thoughtful, and playful work. he believes that art-making requires courage to explore
questions and doubts with trust in the process of making.
